Revisited

The News & Advance readers have come to know the Palmers and the Colemans really well. We first visited them in 2006 for a story about a family bible that has been to five wars and was coming home from Iraq with Michael Coleman, a Marine, who served in Iraq.
Next we visited them for The Rites of Life project that was focused on Darlene Palmer saying goodbye to her youngest son as he send him off to bootcamp.
Click here to see the story.

Well with the recent news of the troop deployment to Afganistan we learned that Ethan Coleman, the son Darlene sent off to bootcamp, was being deployed. Luckly we got to see Ethan when he came home for the holidays. This photo was taken during a blessing over lunch and I think really captures the relationship between Darlene and Ethan.

It really has been an amazing exprience getting to know the Palmer/Colemans and is a good reminder of how lucky I am to be a photographer.

Catch Up

I figured that since it was a new year and all that I should put last years photos to rest. Here are some from last year and a couple from this year.
