New Project: I Believe

After taking a year off after working on Rites of Life, I'm back and working on a new project for this year. The project is called "I Believe: Personal Portraits of Faith" and it focuses on the average Joe and how faith relates to their life. This is mainly a photo driven project and almost all of the text (and audio in the case of multimedia) is "in their own words". For my last project I was the only photographer and worked with the very talented writer Liz Barry. This project is a collaborative effort by Jill Nance and myself and it's been great to work along side such an excellent photographer, inspiration, and friend. Jill tackled part one and I had part two. For my story I followed Mormon missionaries. I thought they might make a nice addition to the project since they eat, sleep, and dream their religion. This also brought back some nice memories for me since I interned out in Salt Lake City before coming to work here. So far we have two down will have one every month for the rest of the year.
