Low Ride

Being from the east coast I always thought of car shows as a group of retired men sitting in front of cars from the 1920-50s in lawn chairs talking about the glory days. Then I realized there is a whole different take on the standard car show. (sound of horns) The low rider car show. They are amazing. Really I felt like I was in a rap video with these amazing cars and bikes modified in ways I never really believed people actually did. Hydraulics? I knew in theory that it existed but seeing it live and in person was a whole different beast. I was amazed by this culture I never knew existed. I had only a few hours but here are a few frames from the day.
